Makaronada Dance
Our next Makaronada Dance will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Parkview Manor. The reception starts at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. The Makaronada, is a masquerade dinner dance celebrating the Lent period where we indulge in large platters of traditionally cooked macaronia and prizes are given for best costumes to young and old; held 40 days before Easter. more info (Greek)more info (English)

The Official Opening of Karyai Park
The official opening of Karyai Park is held on the last Sunday in May, which also celebrates St. Konstantino and St. Eleni. On this day, members and friends of Adelphotis Arahoviton have a picnic at the park, a memorial service at the chapel for family and friends who have passed away and also do a major clean-up of the entire park after the long winter. The annual two-day festival, otherwise known as the “Panigyri,” is held on the last weekend of July, celebrating St. Paraskevi and St. Panteleimona with music, dancing, a variety of delicious food, and fun for all. This annual event corresponds with a similar two-day festival in Arahova (Karyes), Greece. Corn Roast
Join us on Sunday,September 20, 2020 for a wonderful picnic at our Corn Roast. Every year, on the second Sunday of September at Karyai Park, Adelphotis Arahoviton supplies and cooks freshly-picked Ontario corn on the cob and Ontario-grown potatoes. Everyone brings a variety of food, beverages and sweets which are shared and enjoyed by all who are present.
